He has often risked his life to assist in saving others or even complete civilizations in full-length reports. Though he's been shown to be academically poor, the real reason for it is principally his laziness, and he has guaranteed good marks in multiple shows also, proving his qualifications. Nobita can be very dependable and serious sometimes. Nobita is weak at most things but does have some strengths. For instance, Nobita has excellent marksmanship which rivals (or even surpasses) Dora the Kid. He is able to also weave excellent string characters, is a great archer, and a reasonably good comic booklet critic, owing to the huge amount of your time he spends on reading them. He is also very creative when it comes to utilizing Doraemon's gizmos (in one episode, he found a way to use a device called 'the broadcasting mirror' profitably, for advertising, even though Doraemon himself couldn't think of any use for it).In the original record where Doraemon did not interfere, Nobita marries Jaiko (Gian's sister, although he adores Shizuka), never finds a good job, starts his own business, and goes bankrupt eventually. Doraemon succeeds on his mission to avoid each one of these from happening, as observed in several episodes in which they travel to the near future. Nobita eventually marries Shizuka and becomes an official in the Ministry of Environment.
