Doraemon: Nobita39;s Great Adventure to the South Sea Adventure Flag
Nobita's typical day includes arriving past due to school, falling during class asleep, scoring zero (0%) (F's in the English dub) on his tests, getting scolded by his instructor, being teased by his classmates Gian and Suneo, dropping in the curbside rainwater gutters, getting chased by dogs after mistakenly moving on the tails, getting grounded by his mother for not doing his home work, and being bullied by all his friends except Shizuka, who remembers Nobita's kind heart and soul and cares for him. He's also a coward who's frightened by almost anything, particularly ghosts, and a cry-baby (a operating gag in the show has Nobita crying and requesting Doraemon to bring out his gadgets, mostly at the beginning of the instance). He dislikes taking place outdoor activities with his interest being taking an afternoon nap or reading comics, right after school usually. In fact, sleeping and comic book reading are most likely his only true hobbies; one story features Nobita falling asleep in three seconds simply by closing his eyes, while in others he chooses sleep over important events, such as watching the first sunrise on New Year's Day. The only thing stopping him from staying at home all the right time, other than experimenting with Doraemon's gizmos, is Gian and Suneo bullying him to participate in baseball game titles or criticisms from his parents and Doraemon to venture out and play.Despite the above flaws, Nobita is usually portrayed to be kind-hearted, emotional, honest, once in a while hard-working (like when he gets into a wager with his friends) and sometimes courageous. He has often risked his life to help save others or even whole civilizations in full-length experiences. Though he is been shown to be academically poor, the real reason for it is his laziness principally, and he has secured good markings in multiple shows also, proving his credentials. Nobita can be quite serious and accountable at times. Nobita is weak at most things but does have some strengths. For instance, Nobita has excellent marksmanship which rivals (or even surpasses) Dora a child. He can also weave excellent string information, is a great archer, and a fairly good comic e book critic, due to the large amount of your energy he spends on reading them. He's also very creative as it pertains to utilizing Doraemon's devices (in one episode, he found a way to profitably use a tool called 'the broadcasting mirror', for advertising, even when Doraemon himself couldn't think of any use for this). In the original history where Doraemon did not interfere, Nobita marries Jaiko (Gian's sister, although he enjoys Shizuka), never finds a good job, starts off his own business, and goes bankrupt eventually. Doraemon succeeds on his mission to avoid all these from happening, as observed in several episodes where they happen to be the future. Nobita eventually marries Shizuka and becomes an officer in the Ministry of Environment.
