Doraemon: Nobita’s New Great Adventure into the Underworld – The
Nobita's typical day contains arriving later to school, falling asleep during class, credit scoring zero (0%) (F's in the English dub) on his tests, getting scolded by his educator, being teased by his classmates Gian and Suneo, dropping in the curbside rainwater gutters, getting chased by pups after mistakenly moving on their tails, getting grounded by his mom for not completing his homework, and being bullied by all his friends except Shizuka, who remembers Nobita's kind heart and soul and cares for him. He's also a coward who's terrified by almost anything, ghosts particularly, and a cry-baby (a jogging gag in the show has Nobita crying and asking for Doraemon to draw out his gadgets, mainly at the start of the tv show). He dislikes going on outdoor activities with his interest being taking a day reading or nap comics, right after school usually. In fact, sleeping and comic book reading are probably his only true hobbies; one story features Nobita drifting off to sleep in three seconds simply by closing his eyes, while in others he chooses sleep over important events, such as watching the first sunrise on New Year's Day. The thing halting him from staying at home all the right time, other than tinkering with Doraemon's devices, is Gian and Suneo bullying him to take part in baseball game titles or criticisms from his parents and Doraemon to go out and play.Regardless of the above flaws, Nobita is usually portrayed as being kind-hearted, emotional, honest, sometimes hard-working (like when he enters a wager along with his friends) and sometimes courageous. He has often risked his life to help save others or even complete civilizations in full-length reports. Though he's been shown to be poor academically, the real reason for it is his laziness principally, and he in addition has anchored good marks in multiple episodes, proving his qualifications. Nobita can be quite serious and accountable sometimes. Nobita is weak for the most part things but has some strengths. For example, Nobita has excellent marksmanship which rivals (or even surpasses) Dora the Kid. They can also weave excellent string figures, is a superb archer, and a good comic publication critic quite, owing to the large amount of the time he spends on reading them. He is also very creative as it pertains to utilizing Doraemon's devices (in one episode, he found a way to use a gadget called 'the broadcasting mirror' profitably, for advertising, even though Doraemon himself couldn't think of any use for it).In the original history where Doraemon didn't interfere, Nobita marries Jaiko (Gian's sister, although he loves Shizuka), never confirms a good job, begins his own business, and goes bankrupt eventually. Doraemon succeeds on his mission to avoid each one of these from happening, as seen in several episodes in which they happen to be the near future. Nobita eventually marries Shizuka and becomes an official in the Ministry of Environment.
