Nobita can be quite liable and serious sometimes. Nobita is weak at most things but has some strengths. For example, Nobita has excellent marksmanship which rivals (or even surpasses) Dora a child. He can also weave excellent string figures, is a great archer, and a fairly good comic booklet critic, owing to the huge amount of the time he spends on reading them. He is also very creative as it pertains to utilizing Doraemon's devices (in a single episode, he found a way to profitably use a gizmo called 'the broadcasting mirror', for advertising, even though Doraemon himself couldn't think of any use for this).In the original record where Doraemon didn't interfere, Nobita marries Jaiko (Gian's sister, although he enjoys Shizuka), never confirms a good job, begins his own business, and eventually goes bankrupt. Doraemon succeeds on his mission to prevent each one of these from happening, as observed in several episodes where they happen to be the near future. Nobita eventually marries Shizuka and becomes an official in the Ministry of Environment.
