Nobita's typical day involves arriving overdue to school, falling asleep during class, rating zero (0%) (F's in the British dub) on his lab tests, getting scolded by his tutor, being teased by his classmates Suneo and Gian, falling in the curbside rainwater gutters, getting chased by pups after mistakenly stepping on their tails, getting grounded by his mom for not completing his homework, and being bullied by all his friends except Shizuka, who remembers Nobita's kind center and cares for him. He is a coward who's terrified by almost anything also, ghosts particularly, and a cry-baby (a jogging gag in the show has Nobita crying and asking for Doraemon to bring out his gadgets, mostly at the start of the tv show). He dislikes occurring outdoor activities along with his interest being taking an afternoon nap or reading comics, right after school usually. In fact, sleeping and comic book reading are his only true hobbies probably; one story features Nobita falling asleep in three seconds just by closing his eyes, while in others he chooses sleep over important events, such as watching the first sunrise on New Year's Day. The thing preventing him from residing at home all the right time, other than tinkering with Doraemon's gizmos, is Gian and Suneo bullying him to participate in baseball game titles or criticisms from his parents and Doraemon to go out and play.Regardless of the above flaws, Nobita is usually portrayed as being kind-hearted, emotional, honest, once in a while hard-working (like when he enters a wager with his friends) and sometimes courageous. He has often risked his life to help save others or even complete civilizations in full-length reports. Though he's been shown to be academically poor, the reason behind it is especially his laziness, and he has anchored good marks in multiple shows also, proving his credentials. Nobita can be quite liable and serious sometimes. Nobita is weak at most things but does have some strengths. For example, Nobita has excellent marksmanship which rivals (or even surpasses) Dora a child. They can weave excellent string statistics also, is a superb archer, and a good comic reserve critic quite, due to the large amount of their time he spends on reading them. He's also very creative as it pertains to utilizing Doraemon's devices (in a single episode, he found a way to profitably use a device called 'the broadcasting mirror', for advertising, even though Doraemon himself couldn't think of any use for this).In the initial history where Doraemon did not interfere, Nobita marries Jaiko (Gian's sister, although he adores Shizuka), never detects a good job, starts off his own business, and eventually goes bankrupt. Doraemon succeeds on his mission to prevent each one of these from happening, as seen in several episodes where they happen to be the future. Nobita eventually marries Shizuka and becomes an officer in the Ministry of Environment.
