He's a coward who is worried by almost anything also, particularly ghosts, and a cry-baby (a working gag in the show has Nobita crying and asking for Doraemon to draw out his gadgets, mostly at the start of the show). He dislikes happening outdoor activities with his interest being taking a day nap or reading comics, right after school usually. He has often risked his life to help save others or even entire civilizations in full-length testimonies. Though he is been shown to be poor academically, the real reason for it is his laziness principally, and he has anchored good grades in multiple shows also, proving his qualifications. Nobita can be very accountable and serious sometimes. Nobita is weak at most things but has some strengths. For example, Nobita has excellent marksmanship which rivals (or even surpasses) Dora the Kid. He is able to weave excellent string results also, is a great archer, and a fairly good comic e book critic, due to the huge amount of your energy he spends on reading them. He's also very creative when it comes to utilizing Doraemon's gizmos (in one episode, he found a way to profitably use a gadget called 'the broadcasting mirror', for advertising, even though Doraemon himself couldn't think of any use for it).In the original history where Doraemon did not interfere, Nobita marries Jaiko (Gian's sister, although he is in love with Shizuka), never finds a good job, starts his own business, and goes bankrupt eventually. Doraemon succeeds on his mission to prevent each one of these from happening, as seen in several episodes where they happen to be the near future. Nobita eventually marries Shizuka and becomes an official in the Ministry of Environment.
