Nobita's typical day contains arriving late to school, falling during class asleep, scoring zero (0%) (F's in the English dub) on his assessments, getting scolded by his instructor, being teased by his classmates Suneo and Gian, falling in the curbside rainwater gutters, getting chased by pet dogs after mistakenly stepping on their tails, getting grounded by his mom for not completing his research, and being bullied by all his friends except Shizuka, who remembers Nobita's kind heart and soul and cares for him. He's a coward who's scared by almost everything also, particularly ghosts, and a cry-baby (a jogging gag in the show has Nobita crying and requesting Doraemon to bring out his gadgets, typically at the start of the instance). He dislikes going on outdoor activities with his interest being taking an afternoon nap or reading comics, right after school usually. He has often risked his life to help save others or even complete civilizations in full-length experiences. Though he's been shown to be academically poor, the reason behind it is his laziness principally, and he has secured good marks in multiple shows also, proving his credentials. Nobita can be very serious and in charge sometimes. Nobita is weak at most things but does have some strengths. For instance, Nobita has excellent marksmanship which rivals (or even surpasses) Dora the Kid. They can weave excellent string numbers also, is a great archer, and a good comic book critic rather, due to the large amount of time he spends on reading them. He's also very creative as it pertains to utilizing Doraemon's gizmos (in one episode, he found a way to profitably use a device called 'the broadcasting mirror', for advertising, even when Doraemon himself couldn't think of any use for this).In the original history where Doraemon didn't interfere, Nobita marries Jaiko (Gian's sister, although he is in love with Shizuka), never sees a good job, begins his own business, and goes bankrupt eventually. Doraemon succeeds on his mission to avoid all these from happening, as seen in several episodes where they travel to the near future. Nobita eventually marries Shizuka and becomes an official in the Ministry of Environment.
