Nobita's typical day contains arriving later to school, falling asleep during class, credit scoring zero (0%) (F's in the English dub) on his assessments, getting scolded by his instructor, being teased by his classmates Gian and Suneo, falling in the curbside rain gutters, getting chased by pet dogs after stepping on the tails mistakenly, getting grounded by his mom for not concluding his home work, and being bullied by all his friends except Shizuka, who remembers Nobita's kind heart and soul and cares for him. Nobita can be quite liable and serious sometimes. Nobita is weak for the most part things but has some strengths. For instance, Nobita has excellent marksmanship which rivals (or even surpasses) Dora the Kid. He is able to weave excellent string information also, is a great archer, and a reasonably good comic e book critic, due to the large amount of their time he spends on reading them. He is also very creative when it comes to utilizing Doraemon's gadgets (in a single episode, he found a way to use a tool called 'the broadcasting mirror' profitably, for advertising, even when Doraemon himself couldn't think of any use for this).In the original background where Doraemon didn't interfere, Nobita marries Jaiko (Gian's sister, although he is in love with Shizuka), never locates a good job, starts his own business, and goes bankrupt eventually. Doraemon succeeds on his mission to avoid all these from happening, as observed in several episodes where they travel to the near future. Nobita eventually marries Shizuka and becomes an official in the Ministry of Environment.
