Nobita's typical day involves arriving late to school, falling asleep during class, rating zero (0%) (F's in the English dub) on his lab tests, getting scolded by his tutor, being teased by his classmates Suneo and Gian, dropping in the curbside rainwater gutters, getting chased by pet dogs after moving on the tails mistakenly, getting grounded by his mom for not doing his home work, and being bullied by all his friends except Shizuka, who remembers Nobita's kind heart and soul and cares for him. He's also a coward who's worried by almost everything, ghosts particularly, and a cry-baby (a jogging gag in the show has Nobita crying and requesting Doraemon to bring out his gadgets, typically at the start of the occurrence). He dislikes going on outdoor activities with his interest being taking an afternoon reading or nap comics, usually right after school. In fact, sleeping and comic book reading are most likely his only true hobbies; one story features Nobita falling in three seconds just by closing his eyes asleep, while in others he chooses sleep over important events, such as watching the first sunrise on New Year's Day. The only thing stopping him from residing at home all the right time, other than tinkering with Doraemon's gadgets, is Gian and Suneo bullying him to take part in baseball games or criticisms from his parents and Doraemon to venture out and play.Regardless of the above flaws, Nobita is usually portrayed as being kind-hearted, emotional, honest, sometimes hard-working (like when he enters a wager with his friends) and sometimes courageous. He has often risked his life to help save others or even entire civilizations in full-length experiences. Though he's been shown to be academically poor, the real reason for it is principally his laziness, and he has anchored good markings in multiple shows also, proving his qualifications. Nobita can be quite serious and liable sometimes. Nobita is weak for the most part things but has some strengths. For instance, Nobita has excellent marksmanship which rivals (or even surpasses) Dora the Kid. He can also weave excellent string statistics, is a superb archer, and a good comic reserve critic rather, owing to the large amount of your energy he spends on reading them. He is also very creative when it comes to utilizing Doraemon's gadgets (in a single episode, he found a way to use a device called 'the broadcasting mirror' profitably, for advertising, even when Doraemon himself couldn't think of any use for it).In the initial history where Doraemon did not interfere, Nobita marries Jaiko (Gian's sister, although he loves Shizuka), never finds a good job, starts off his own business, and goes bankrupt eventually. Doraemon succeeds on his mission to avoid each one of these from happening, as seen in several episodes in which they happen to be the near future. Nobita eventually marries Shizuka and becomes an officer in the Ministry of Environment.
