Nobita can be quite responsible and serious at times. Nobita is weak for the most part things but does have some strengths. For instance, Nobita has excellent marksmanship which rivals (or even surpasses) Dora a child. They can also weave excellent string results, is a superb archer, and a good comic book critic fairly, owing to the huge amount of time he spends on reading them. He is also very creative as it pertains to utilizing Doraemon's gadgets (in a single episode, he found a way to profitably use a device called 'the broadcasting mirror', for advertising, even though Doraemon himself couldn't think of any use for it).In the original record where Doraemon didn't interfere, Nobita marries Jaiko (Gian's sister, although he is in love with Shizuka), never sees a good job, starts off his own business, and goes bankrupt eventually. Doraemon succeeds on his mission to prevent each one of these from happening, as observed in several episodes where they happen to be the future. Nobita eventually marries Shizuka and becomes an official in the Ministry of Environment.
