Nobita's typical day contains arriving past due to school, falling asleep during class, scoring zero (0%) (F's in the British dub) on his tests, getting scolded by his tutor, being teased by his classmates Gian and Suneo, dropping in the curbside rainfall gutters, getting chased by puppies after moving on the tails mistakenly, getting grounded by his mother for not completing his homework, and being bullied by all his friends except Shizuka, who remembers Nobita's kind center and cares for him. He's a coward who's worried by almost everything also, particularly ghosts, and a cry-baby (a jogging gag in the show has Nobita crying and asking for Doraemon to draw out his gadgets, mainly at the start of the show). He dislikes happening outdoor activities along with his interest being taking a day nap or reading comics, usually right after school. In fact, sleeping and comic book reading are probably his only true hobbies; one story features Nobita falling asleep in three seconds just by closing his eyes, while in others he chooses sleep over important events, such as watching the first sunrise on New Year's Day. The thing preventing him from staying at home all the time, other than tinkering with Doraemon's devices, is Gian and Suneo bullying him to take part in baseball game titles or criticisms from his parents and Doraemon to venture out and play.Regardless of the above flaws, Nobita is portrayed to be kind-hearted usually, emotional, honest, sometimes hard-working (like when he gets into a wager with his friends) and sometimes courageous. He has often risked his life to assist in saving others or even complete civilizations in full-length reviews. Though he is shown to be academically poor, the real reason for it is especially his laziness, and he in addition has anchored good marks in multiple shows, proving his credentials. Nobita can be very serious and responsible at times. Nobita is weak for the most part things but has some strengths. For example, Nobita has excellent marksmanship which rivals (or even surpasses) Dora the Kid. He is able to weave excellent string information also, is a superb archer, and a reasonably good comic reserve critic, owing to the large amount of energy he spends on reading them. He's also very creative as it pertains to utilizing Doraemon's devices (in a single episode, he found a way to profitably use a device called 'the broadcasting mirror', for advertising, even though Doraemon himself couldn't think of any use for this).In the initial background where Doraemon didn't interfere, Nobita marries Jaiko (Gian's sister, although he loves Shizuka), never finds a good job, starts off his own business, and goes bankrupt eventually. Doraemon succeeds on his mission to avoid all these from happening, as seen in several episodes where they happen to be the near future. Nobita eventually marries Shizuka and becomes an official in the Ministry of Environment.
