Nobita can be very serious and sensible sometimes. Nobita is weak for the most part things but does have some strengths. For instance, Nobita has excellent marksmanship which rivals (or even surpasses) Dora the Kid. He can weave excellent string results also, is a superb archer, and a good comic e book critic quite, due to the large amount of their time he spends on reading them. He is also very creative as it pertains to utilizing Doraemon's gizmos (in a single episode, he found a way to profitably use a tool called 'the broadcasting mirror', for advertising, even though Doraemon himself couldn't think of any use for this).In the original record where Doraemon did not interfere, Nobita marries Jaiko (Gian's sister, although he adores Shizuka), never finds a good job, starts off his own business, and goes bankrupt eventually. Doraemon succeeds on his mission to avoid each one of these from happening, as observed in several episodes in which they happen to be the future. Nobita eventually marries Shizuka and becomes an officer in the Ministry of Environment.
