Nobita's typical day involves arriving late to school, falling during class asleep, credit scoring zero (0%) (F's in the British dub) on his lab tests, getting scolded by his professor, being teased by his classmates Suneo and Gian, falling in the curbside rainwater gutters, getting chased by dogs after mistakenly moving on the tails, getting grounded by his mom for not concluding his homework, and being bullied by all his friends except Shizuka, who remembers Nobita's kind center and cares for him. He's also a coward who's scared by almost everything, ghosts particularly, and a cry-baby (a running gag in the show has Nobita crying and asking for Doraemon to bring out his gadgets, largely at the beginning of the show). He dislikes happening outdoor activities along with his interest being taking a day nap or reading comics, usually right after school. In fact, sleeping and comic reserve reading are his only true hobbies and interests probably; one story features Nobita falling in three seconds just by closing his eyes asleep, while in others he chooses sleep over important events, such as watching the first sunrise on New Year's Day. The only thing stopping him from residing at home all the right time, other than experimenting with Doraemon's gadgets, is Gian and Suneo bullying him to take part in baseball video games or criticisms from his parents and Doraemon to go out and play.Despite the above flaws, Nobita is usually portrayed as being kind-hearted, emotional, honest, sometimes hard-working (like when he enters a wager along with his friends) and sometimes courageous. He has often risked his life to help save others or even entire civilizations in full-length experiences. Though he's shown to be academically poor, the reason behind it is especially his laziness, and he has anchored good markings in multiple shows also, proving his qualifications. Nobita can be quite dependable and serious at times. Nobita is weak for the most part things but has some strengths. For instance, Nobita has excellent marksmanship which rivals (or even surpasses) Dora the Kid. He is able to also weave excellent string numbers, is a superb archer, and a good comic publication critic quite, due to the huge amount of your energy he spends on reading them. He is also very creative as it pertains to utilizing Doraemon's devices (in one episode, he found a way to use a device called 'the broadcasting mirror' profitably, for advertising, even though Doraemon himself couldn't think of any use for this).In the original history where Doraemon didn't interfere, Nobita marries Jaiko (Gian's sister, although he enjoys Shizuka), never discovers a good job, starts off his own business, and eventually goes bankrupt. Doraemon succeeds on his mission to avoid each one of these from happening, as seen in several episodes where they travel to the near future. Nobita eventually marries Shizuka and becomes an officer in the Ministry of Environment.
