Nobita Doraemon Movie
Nobita's typical day includes arriving past due to school, falling asleep during class, rating zero (0%) (F's in the English dub) on his exams, getting scolded by his professor, being teased by his classmates Gian and Suneo, dropping in the curbside rain gutters, getting chased by puppies after mistakenly stepping on the tails, getting grounded by his mother for not completing his homework, and being bullied by all his friends except Shizuka, who remembers Nobita's kind heart and cares for him. He's a coward who is terrified by almost everything also, particularly ghosts, and a cry-baby (a jogging gag in the show has Nobita crying and asking for Doraemon to draw out his gadgets, usually at the beginning of the episode). He dislikes taking place outdoor activities along with his interest being taking a day nap or reading comics, right after school usually. In fact, sleeping and comic book reading are probably his only true hobbies; one story features Nobita falling in three seconds simply by closing his eyes asleep, while in others he chooses sleep over important events, such as watching the first sunrise on New Year's Day. The only thing halting him from residing at home all the time, other than experimenting with Doraemon's gizmos, is Gian and Suneo bullying him to take part in baseball game titles or criticisms from his parents and Doraemon to go out and play.Despite the above flaws, Nobita is portrayed to be kind-hearted usually, emotional, honest, sometimes hard-working (like when he enters a wager with his friends) and sometimes courageous. He has often risked his life to assist in saving others or even whole civilizations in full-length reviews. Though he is shown to be poor academically, the real reason for it is principally his laziness, and he has guaranteed good marks in multiple shows also, proving his qualifications. Nobita can be very accountable and serious sometimes. Nobita is weak at most things but has some strengths. For example, Nobita has excellent marksmanship which rivals (or even surpasses) Dora the Kid. He is able to also weave excellent string figures, is a great archer, and a reasonably good comic e book critic, owing to the huge amount of the time he spends on reading them. He is also very creative as it pertains to utilizing Doraemon's gizmos (in a single episode, he found a way to use a gizmo called 'the broadcasting mirror' profitably, for advertising, even though Doraemon himself couldn't think of any use for this). In the original history where Doraemon did not interfere, Nobita marries Jaiko (Gian's sister, although he enjoys Shizuka), never confirms a good job, begins his own business, and eventually goes bankrupt. Doraemon succeeds on his mission to avoid all these from happening, as seen in several episodes where they travel to the near future. Nobita eventually marries Shizuka and becomes an official in the Ministry of Environment.
