Robot Damashii 093 Zandacross, Doraemon: Nobita and the Steel Troops
Nobita's typical day involves arriving late to school, falling during class asleep, rating zero (0%) (F's in the English dub) on his lab tests, getting scolded by his educator, being teased by his classmates Gian and Suneo, slipping in the curbside rainwater gutters, getting chased by pet dogs after stepping on their tails mistakenly, getting grounded by his mom for not doing his homework, and being bullied by all his friends except Shizuka, who remembers Nobita's kind center and cares for him. He's a coward who's scared by almost anything also, particularly ghosts, and a cry-baby (a jogging gag in the show has Nobita crying and asking for Doraemon to bring out his gadgets, mainly at the start of the tv show). He dislikes occurring outdoor activities along with his interest being taking an afternoon reading or nap comics, usually right after school. In fact, sleeping and comic e book reading are his only true interests probably; one story features Nobita falling in three seconds simply by closing his eyes asleep, while in others he chooses sleep over important events, such as watching the first sunrise on New Year's Day. The only thing halting him from residing at home all the time, other than experimenting with Doraemon's devices, is Gian and Suneo bullying him to take part in baseball game titles or criticisms from his parents and Doraemon to go out and play.Regardless of the above flaws, Nobita is portrayed to be kind-hearted usually, emotional, honest, occasionally hard-working (like when he enters a wager along with his friends) and sometimes courageous. He has often risked his life to help save others or even whole civilizations in full-length stories. Though he's shown to be academically poor, the reason behind it is his laziness principally, and he has anchored good marks in multiple shows also, proving his qualifications. Nobita can be quite liable and serious at times. Nobita is weak for the most part things but has some strengths. For instance, Nobita has excellent marksmanship which rivals (or even surpasses) Dora a child. They can also weave excellent string characters, is a great archer, and a fairly good comic booklet critic, owing to the large amount of energy he spends on reading them. He's also very creative when it comes to utilizing Doraemon's gadgets (in one episode, he found a way to profitably use a gizmo called 'the broadcasting mirror', for advertising, even though Doraemon himself couldn't think of any use for it).In the original background where Doraemon didn't interfere, Nobita marries Jaiko (Gian's sister, although he is in love with Shizuka), never finds a good job, starts off his own business, and eventually goes bankrupt. Doraemon succeeds on his mission to prevent all these from happening, as observed in several episodes in which they travel to the near future. Nobita eventually marries Shizuka and becomes an official in the Ministry of Environment.
