He can also weave excellent string characters, is a superb archer, and a fairly good comic reserve critic, due to the large amount of the time he spends on reading them. He is also very creative as it pertains to utilizing Doraemon's gadgets (in a single episode, he found a way to profitably use a gizmo called 'the broadcasting mirror', for advertising, even though Doraemon himself couldn't think of any use for it).In the original background where Doraemon didn't interfere, Nobita marries Jaiko (Gian's sister, although he loves Shizuka), never sees a good job, starts his own business, and goes bankrupt eventually. Doraemon succeeds on his mission to avoid all these from happening, as observed in several episodes in which they happen to be the near future. Nobita eventually marries Shizuka and becomes an official in the Ministry of Environment.
