Nobita's typical day includes arriving past due to school, falling asleep during class, rating zero (0%) (F's in the British dub) on his exams, getting scolded by his instructor, being teased by his classmates Gian and Suneo, falling in the curbside rainwater gutters, getting chased by puppies after mistakenly stepping on the tails, getting grounded by his mom for not doing his research, and being bullied by all his friends except Shizuka, who remembers Nobita's kind heart and soul and cares for him. He is a coward who is worried by almost anything also, particularly ghosts, and a cry-baby (a jogging gag in the show has Nobita crying and requesting Doraemon to draw out his gadgets, largely at the start of the instance). He dislikes taking place outdoor activities with his interest being taking a day nap or reading comics, right after school usually. In fact, sleeping and comic reserve reading are his only true hobbies probably; one story features Nobita falling asleep in three seconds simply by closing his eyes, while in others he chooses sleep over important events, such as watching the first sunrise on New Year's Day. The thing stopping him from residing at home on a regular basis, other than experimenting with Doraemon's gadgets, is Gian and Suneo bullying him to participate in baseball games or criticisms from his parents and Doraemon to venture out and play.Regardless of the above flaws, Nobita is usually portrayed to be kind-hearted, emotional, honest, occasionally hard-working (like when he enters a wager with his friends) and sometimes courageous. He has often risked his life to assist in saving others or even whole civilizations in full-length tales. Though he is shown to be poor academically, the reason behind it is principally his laziness, and he has also guaranteed good markings in multiple shows, proving his credentials. Nobita can be very sensible and serious sometimes. Nobita is weak for the most part things but does have some strengths. For instance, Nobita has excellent marksmanship which rivals (or even surpasses) Dora the Kid. He can weave excellent string information also, is a great archer, and a fairly good comic publication critic, owing to the huge amount of your energy he spends on reading them. He's also very creative when it comes to utilizing Doraemon's devices (in one episode, he found a way to profitably use a gizmo called 'the broadcasting mirror', for advertising, even when Doraemon himself couldn't think of any use for it).In the initial history where Doraemon did not interfere, Nobita marries Jaiko (Gian's sister, although he is in love with Shizuka), never confirms a good job, starts off his own business, and eventually goes bankrupt. Doraemon succeeds on his mission to avoid all these from happening, as seen in several episodes where they happen to be the future. Nobita eventually marries Shizuka and becomes an officer in the Ministry of Environment.
