Doraemon: Doraemon
Nobita's typical day involves arriving late to school, falling during class asleep, rating zero (0%) (F's in the English dub) on his tests, getting scolded by his instructor, being teased by his classmates Gian and Suneo, dropping in the curbside rain gutters, getting chased by canines after mistakenly stepping on the tails, getting grounded by his mother for not doing his homework, and being bullied by all his friends except Shizuka, who remembers Nobita's kind heart and soul and cares for him. He's also a coward who is worried by almost everything, particularly ghosts, and a cry-baby (a operating gag in the show has Nobita crying and asking for Doraemon to draw out his gadgets, largely at the start of the instance). He dislikes occurring outdoor activities along with his interest being taking a day reading or nap comics, right after school usually. In fact, sleeping and comic publication reading are his only true hobbies probably; one story features Nobita falling asleep in three seconds just by closing his eyes, while in others he chooses sleep over important events, such as watching the first sunrise on New Year's Day. The only thing preventing him from staying at home all the right time, other than tinkering with Doraemon's devices, is Gian and Suneo bullying him to take part in baseball games or criticisms from his parents and Doraemon to go out and play.Regardless of the above flaws, Nobita is usually portrayed to be kind-hearted, emotional, honest, once in a while hard-working (like when he enters a wager with his friends) and sometimes courageous. He has often risked his life to help save others or even entire civilizations in full-length reports. Though he's shown to be academically poor, the reason behind it is his laziness principally, and he has anchored good grades in multiple shows also, proving his credentials. Nobita can be very sensible and serious sometimes. Nobita is weak at most things but has some strengths. For instance, Nobita has excellent marksmanship which rivals (or even surpasses) Dora the Kid. He is able to also weave excellent string statistics, is a superb archer, and a good comic e book critic fairly, due to the large amount of your time he spends on reading them. He's also very creative when it comes to utilizing Doraemon's gizmos (in a single episode, he found a way to use a device called 'the broadcasting mirror' profitably, for advertising, even though Doraemon himself couldn't think of any use for this). In the original history where Doraemon didn't interfere, Nobita marries Jaiko (Gian's sister, although he loves Shizuka), never discovers a good job, begins his own business, and goes bankrupt eventually. Doraemon succeeds on his mission to avoid each one of these from happening, as observed in several episodes in which they travel to the near future. Nobita eventually marries Shizuka and becomes an official in the Ministry of Environment.
