At the moment, she doesn't have any particular crush (other than on Nobita, whom she secretly likes quite definitely), although she fancies some handsome idols on TV. Apart from Nobita, Gian, and Suneo, Shizuka is also near to classmate and popular pupil Dekisugi which makes Nobita jealous; though they consider each other only as friends, Nobita often will try to together prevent them from going.In the shut captioning of Doraemon's Time Capsule, her Japanese name is maintained while donating her journal to the capsule.
