Shizuka Minamoto , nicknamed Shizuka-chan is a good, kind and very girl; she is Nobita's closest friend and he has a crush on her. She will not shun Nobita because of the latter's failing levels, sluggish disposition or continuous failures; in reality she often attempts to encourage him to do better, though she usually does not influence him. At present, she doesn't have any particular crush (apart from on Nobita, whom she secretly likes very much), although she fancies some handsome idols on TV.
