Other than Nobita, Gian, and Suneo, Shizuka is also near classmate and popular college student Dekisugi which makes Nobita jealous; though they consider one another only as friends, Nobita often tries to prevent them from heading alongside one another.In the shut down captioning of Doraemon's Time Capsule, her Japanese name is maintained while donating her journal to the capsule.
