He can also weave excellent string results, is a great archer, and a good comic e book critic rather, owing to the large amount of energy he spends on reading them. He is also very creative as it pertains to utilizing Doraemon's gizmos (in a single episode, he found a way to profitably use a gizmo called 'the broadcasting mirror', for advertising, even when Doraemon himself couldn't think of any use for this).In the original history where Doraemon didn't interfere, Nobita marries Jaiko (Gian's sister, although he enjoys Shizuka), never discovers a good job, starts off his own business, and eventually goes bankrupt. Doraemon succeeds on his mission to prevent each one of these from happening, as seen in several episodes in which they happen to be the future. Nobita eventually marries Shizuka and becomes an official in the Ministry of Environment.
