Doraemon: Nobita and the Steel Troops: Riruru
Nobita's typical day involves arriving past due to school, falling during class asleep, scoring zero (0%) (F's in the English dub) on his testing, getting scolded by his educator, being teased by his classmates Gian and Suneo, falling in the curbside rainfall gutters, getting chased by canines after moving on the tails mistakenly, getting grounded by his mother for not concluding his home work, and being bullied by all his friends except Shizuka, who remembers Nobita's kind heart and soul and cares for him. He is also a coward who's frightened by almost anything, ghosts particularly, and a cry-baby (a operating gag in the show has Nobita crying and asking for Doraemon to draw out his gadgets, typically at the beginning of the instance). He dislikes occurring outdoor activities along with his interest being taking an afternoon nap or reading comics, right after school usually. In fact, sleeping and comic book reading are his only true interests probably; one story features Nobita falling in three seconds just by closing his eyes asleep, while in others he chooses sleep over important events, such as watching the first sunrise on New Year's Day. The thing preventing him from residing at home on a regular basis, other than tinkering with Doraemon's gadgets, is Gian and Suneo bullying him to participate in baseball video games or criticisms from his parents and Doraemon to venture out and play.Despite the above flaws, Nobita is portrayed to be kind-hearted usually, emotional, honest, sometimes hard-working (like when he enters a wager with his friends) and sometimes courageous. He has often risked his life to assist in saving others or even entire civilizations in full-length reports. Though he is shown to be poor academically, the reason behind it is his laziness principally, and he in addition has secured good grades in multiple episodes, proving his qualifications. Nobita can be quite sensible and serious at times. Nobita is weak at most things but has some strengths. For example, Nobita has excellent marksmanship which rivals (or even surpasses) Dora a child. He is able to weave excellent string numbers also, is a superb archer, and a fairly good comic book critic, owing to the large amount of time he spends on reading them. He's also very creative as it pertains to utilizing Doraemon's gizmos (in one episode, he found a way to use a device called 'the broadcasting mirror' profitably, for advertising, even though Doraemon himself couldn't think of any use for it).In the initial background where Doraemon didn't interfere, Nobita marries Jaiko (Gian's sister, although he adores Shizuka), never confirms a good job, begins his own business, and goes bankrupt eventually. Doraemon succeeds on his mission to prevent all these from happening, as observed in several episodes in which they happen to be the near future. Nobita eventually marries Shizuka and becomes an officer in the Ministry of Environment.
