Nobita's typical day includes arriving past due to school, falling during class asleep, scoring zero (0%) (F's in the British dub) on his testing, getting scolded by his educator, being teased by his classmates Suneo and Gian, dropping in the curbside rain gutters, getting chased by canines after mistakenly moving on their tails, getting grounded by his mom for not doing his homework, and being bullied by all his friends except Shizuka, who remembers Nobita's kind heart and cares for him. He's also a coward who is scared by almost everything, ghosts particularly, and a cry-baby (a jogging gag in the show has Nobita crying and asking for Doraemon to draw out his gadgets, usually at the beginning of the episode). He dislikes taking place outdoor activities with his interest being taking an afternoon reading or nap comics, right after school usually. In fact, sleeping and comic booklet reading are his only true interests probably; one story features Nobita falling in three seconds simply by closing his eyes asleep, while in others he chooses sleep over important events, such as watching the first sunrise on New Year's Day. The thing halting him from staying at home all the right time, other than experimenting with Doraemon's gadgets, is Gian and Suneo bullying him to participate in baseball games or criticisms from his parents and Doraemon to venture out and play.Regardless of the above flaws, Nobita is portrayed as being kind-hearted usually, emotional, honest, sometimes hard-working (like when he gets into a wager with his friends) and sometimes courageous. He has often risked his life to assist in saving others or even whole civilizations in full-length reports. Though he's been shown to be academically poor, the real reason for it is principally his laziness, and he in addition has guaranteed good markings in multiple shows, proving his qualifications. Nobita can be quite serious and accountable at times. Nobita is weak for the most part things but has some strengths. For example, Nobita has excellent marksmanship which rivals (or even surpasses) Dora the Kid. He is able to also weave excellent string numbers, is a great archer, and a reasonably good comic e book critic, owing to the huge amount of energy he spends on reading them. He's also very creative when it comes to utilizing Doraemon's gadgets (in a single episode, he found a way to profitably use a tool called 'the broadcasting mirror', for advertising, even though Doraemon himself couldn't think of any use for it).In the initial record where Doraemon didn't interfere, Nobita marries Jaiko (Gian's sister, although he adores Shizuka), never locates a good job, begins his own business, and goes bankrupt eventually. Doraemon succeeds on his mission to avoid all these from happening, as seen in several episodes where they happen to be the future. Nobita eventually marries Shizuka and becomes an officer in the Ministry of Environment.
