Doraemon Nobita and The Island of Miracle ~Animal Adventure 40.JPG
Nobita's typical day involves arriving later to school, falling asleep during class, credit scoring zero (0%) (F's in the English dub) on his checks, getting scolded by his teacher, being teased by his classmates Suneo and Gian, falling in the curbside rainwater gutters, getting chased by canines after mistakenly stepping on their tails, getting grounded by his mother for not completing his research, and being bullied by all his friends except Shizuka, who remembers Nobita's kind center and cares for him. He is a coward who is frightened by almost everything also, ghosts particularly, and a cry-baby (a jogging gag in the show has Nobita crying and requesting Doraemon to draw out his gadgets, generally at the start of the instance). He dislikes happening outdoor activities with his interest being taking a day reading or nap comics, usually right after school. In fact, sleeping and comic book reading are probably his only true hobbies; one story features Nobita drifting off to sleep in three seconds just by closing his eyes, while in others he chooses sleep over important events, such as watching the first sunrise on New Year's Day. The only thing preventing him from residing at home all the right time, other than tinkering with Doraemon's gadgets, is Gian and Suneo bullying him to participate in baseball games or criticisms from his parents and Doraemon to go out and play.Despite the above flaws, Nobita is portrayed to be kind-hearted usually, emotional, honest, sometimes hard-working (like when he enters a wager with his friends) and sometimes courageous. He has often risked his life to help save others or even entire civilizations in full-length experiences. Though he's been shown to be academically poor, the reason behind it is his laziness principally, and he has guaranteed good markings in multiple shows also, proving his credentials. Nobita can be quite serious and in charge sometimes. Nobita is weak at most things but does have some strengths. For instance, Nobita has excellent marksmanship which rivals (or even surpasses) Dora a child. They can also weave excellent string results, is a superb archer, and a reasonably good comic publication critic, owing to the large amount of your energy he spends on reading them. He is also very creative as it pertains to utilizing Doraemon's devices (in one episode, he found a way to use a device called 'the broadcasting mirror' profitably, for advertising, even though Doraemon himself couldn't think of any use for it).In the original record where Doraemon didn't interfere, Nobita marries Jaiko (Gian's sister, although he enjoys Shizuka), never detects a good job, starts off his own business, and goes bankrupt eventually. Doraemon succeeds on his mission to avoid each one of these from happening, as observed in several episodes in which they travel to the near future. Nobita eventually marries Shizuka and becomes an official in the Ministry of Environment.
