Other than Nobita, Gian, and Suneo, Shizuka is also near to classmate and popular university student Dekisugi making Nobita jealous; though they consider one another only as friends, Nobita often will try to together prevent them from heading.In the shut captioning of Doraemon's Time Capsule, her Japanese name is retained while donating her diary to the capsule.
