He is also very creative when it comes to utilizing Doraemon's gizmos (in a single episode, he found a way to profitably use a gadget called 'the broadcasting mirror', for advertising, even though Doraemon himself couldn't think of any use for this).In the initial history where Doraemon did not interfere, Nobita marries Jaiko (Gian's sister, although he adores Shizuka), never confirms a good job, begins his own business, and goes bankrupt eventually. Doraemon succeeds on his mission to avoid all these from happening, as observed in several episodes where they happen to be the near future. Nobita eventually marries Shizuka and becomes an official in the Ministry of Environment.
