Nobita's typical day contains arriving past due to school, falling during class asleep, credit scoring zero (0%) (F's in the English dub) on his assessments, getting scolded by his tutor, being teased by his classmates Gian and Suneo, falling in the curbside rainwater gutters, getting chased by dogs after mistakenly moving on the tails, getting grounded by his mother for not completing his research, and being bullied by all his friends except Shizuka, who remembers Nobita's kind heart and cares for him. He's a coward who's worried by almost anything also, ghosts particularly, and a cry-baby (a working gag in the show has Nobita crying and requesting Doraemon to bring out his gadgets, typically at the beginning of the occurrence). He dislikes occurring outdoor activities along with his interest being taking a day nap or reading comics, right after school usually. The thing halting him from residing at home all the right time, other than tinkering with Doraemon's gadgets, is Gian and Suneo bullying him to participate in baseball game titles or criticisms from his parents and Doraemon to venture out and play.Despite the above flaws, Nobita is portrayed as being kind-hearted usually, emotional, honest, once in a while hard-working (like when he enters a wager with his friends) and sometimes courageous. He has often risked his life to assist in saving others or even whole civilizations in full-length reviews. Though he's shown to be academically poor, the real reason for it is his laziness principally, and he has anchored good marks in multiple shows also, proving his qualifications. Nobita can be very serious and sensible sometimes. Nobita is weak for the most part things but has some strengths. For instance, Nobita has excellent marksmanship which rivals (or even surpasses) Dora the Kid. He is able to weave excellent string statistics also, is a superb archer, and a reasonably good comic e book critic, due to the huge amount of energy he spends on reading them. He is also very creative as it pertains to utilizing Doraemon's gizmos (in a single episode, he found a way to profitably use a tool called 'the broadcasting mirror', for advertising, even though Doraemon himself couldn't think of any use for this).In the initial history where Doraemon didn't interfere, Nobita marries Jaiko (Gian's sister, although he adores Shizuka), never discovers a good job, starts his own business, and goes bankrupt eventually. Doraemon succeeds on his mission to avoid each one of these from happening, as seen in several episodes in which they travel to the near future. Nobita eventually marries Shizuka and becomes an official in the Ministry of Environment.
