Doraemon Nobita and The Island of Miracle ~Animal Adventure 139.JPG
Nobita's typical day involves arriving overdue to school, falling asleep during class, scoring zero (0%) (F's in the English dub) on his exams, getting scolded by his instructor, being teased by his classmates Gian and Suneo, slipping in the curbside rainwater gutters, getting chased by canines after stepping on their tails mistakenly, getting grounded by his mom for not concluding his homework, and being bullied by all his friends except Shizuka, who remembers Nobita's kind center and cares for him. He is a coward who's terrified by almost anything also, ghosts particularly, and a cry-baby (a working gag in the show has Nobita crying and asking for Doraemon to draw out his gadgets, usually at the start of the occurrence). He dislikes going on outdoor activities with his interest being taking an afternoon reading or nap comics, right after school usually. In fact, sleeping and comic book reading are most likely his only true hobbies; one story features Nobita drifting off to sleep in three seconds just by closing his eyes, while in others he chooses sleep over important events, such as watching the first sunrise on New Year's Day. The thing halting him from residing at home all the right time, other than tinkering with Doraemon's devices, is Gian and Suneo bullying him to participate in baseball game titles or criticisms from his parents and Doraemon to venture out and play.Regardless of the above flaws, Nobita is portrayed to be kind-hearted usually, emotional, honest, once in a while hard-working (like when he enters a wager along with his friends) and sometimes courageous. He has often risked his life to help save others or even entire civilizations in full-length stories. Though he is been shown to be academically poor, the real reason for it is especially his laziness, and he has secured good marks in multiple shows also, proving his credentials. Nobita can be quite in charge and serious sometimes. Nobita is weak at most things but has some strengths. For example, Nobita has excellent marksmanship which rivals (or even surpasses) Dora the Kid. They can also weave excellent string figures, is a great archer, and a good comic reserve critic pretty, owing to the huge amount of your energy he spends on reading them. He's also very creative as it pertains to utilizing Doraemon's devices (in one episode, he found a way to profitably use a tool called 'the broadcasting mirror', for advertising, even when Doraemon himself couldn't think of any use for it).In the initial history where Doraemon didn't interfere, Nobita marries Jaiko (Gian's sister, although he adores Shizuka), never sees a good job, begins his own business, and eventually goes bankrupt. Doraemon succeeds on his mission to prevent all these from happening, as observed in several episodes where they happen to be the near future. Nobita eventually marries Shizuka and becomes an official in the Ministry of Environment.
