Doraemon: Nobita and the Legend of the Sun King – anime review
Nobita's typical day includes arriving overdue to school, falling during class asleep, scoring zero (0%) (F's in the English dub) on his lab tests, getting scolded by his tutor, being teased by his classmates Gian and Suneo, slipping in the curbside rain gutters, getting chased by pet dogs after mistakenly moving on their tails, getting grounded by his mom for not doing his home work, and being bullied by all his friends except Shizuka, who remembers Nobita's kind heart and soul and cares for him. He is a coward who is worried by almost anything also, particularly ghosts, and a cry-baby (a jogging gag in the show has Nobita crying and asking for Doraemon to draw out his gadgets, generally at the beginning of the show). He dislikes occurring outdoor activities along with his interest being taking a day reading or nap comics, right after school usually. In fact, sleeping and comic book reading are most likely his only true hobbies; one story features Nobita falling asleep in three seconds just by closing his eyes, while in others he chooses sleep over important events, such as watching the first sunrise on New Year's Day. The only thing halting him from residing at home all the right time, other than tinkering with Doraemon's gizmos, is Gian and Suneo bullying him to take part in baseball video games or criticisms from his parents and Doraemon to go out and play.Regardless of the above flaws, Nobita is usually portrayed to be kind-hearted, emotional, honest, occasionally hard-working (like when he enters a wager with his friends) and sometimes courageous. He has often risked his life to assist in saving others or even complete civilizations in full-length reviews. Though he is been shown to be poor academically, the reason behind it is his laziness principally, and he in addition has guaranteed good grades in multiple shows, proving his qualifications. Nobita can be very liable and serious sometimes. Nobita is weak for the most part things but does have some strengths. For instance, Nobita has excellent marksmanship which rivals (or even surpasses) Dora a child. He is able to also weave excellent string characters, is a great archer, and a good comic reserve critic fairly, owing to the large amount of time he spends on reading them. He is also very creative as it pertains to utilizing Doraemon's gadgets (in a single episode, he found a way to profitably use a device called 'the broadcasting mirror', for advertising, even though Doraemon himself couldn't think of any use for this). In the original record where Doraemon didn't interfere, Nobita marries Jaiko (Gian's sister, although he enjoys Shizuka), never finds a good job, starts off his own business, and eventually goes bankrupt. Doraemon succeeds on his mission to prevent all these from happening, as seen in several episodes in which they travel to the future. Nobita eventually marries Shizuka and becomes an official in the Ministry of Environment.
