doraemon and nobita steel troops in the Car Tuning
Nobita's typical day consists of arriving late to school, falling asleep during class, credit scoring zero (0%) (F's in the English dub) on his lab tests, getting scolded by his teacher, being teased by his classmates Suneo and Gian, falling in the curbside rainwater gutters, getting chased by puppies after moving on their tails mistakenly, getting grounded by his mother for not completing his home work, and being bullied by all his friends except Shizuka, who remembers Nobita's kind heart and cares for him. He's a coward who's frightened by almost everything also, particularly ghosts, and a cry-baby (a jogging gag in the show has Nobita crying and requesting Doraemon to bring out his gadgets, usually at the beginning of the occurrence). He dislikes occurring outdoor activities with his interest being taking an afternoon nap or reading comics, right after school usually. In fact, sleeping and comic booklet reading are his only true hobbies probably; one story features Nobita falling asleep in three seconds just by closing his eyes, while in others he chooses sleep over important events, such as watching the first sunrise on New Year's Day. The thing halting him from staying at home all the right time, other than experimenting with Doraemon's gadgets, is Gian and Suneo bullying him to participate in baseball game titles or criticisms from his parents and Doraemon to go out and play.Despite the above flaws, Nobita is portrayed as being kind-hearted usually, emotional, honest, sometimes hard-working (like when he enters a wager with his friends) and sometimes courageous. He has often risked his life to assist in saving others or even complete civilizations in full-length tales. Though he is shown to be poor academically, the reason behind it is his laziness principally, and he in addition has secured good grades in multiple episodes, proving his credentials. Nobita can be quite serious and accountable sometimes. Nobita is weak for the most part things but has some strengths. For example, Nobita has excellent marksmanship which rivals (or even surpasses) Dora the Kid. He is able to weave excellent string numbers also, is a great archer, and a good comic reserve critic reasonably, due to the huge amount of energy he spends on reading them. He's also very creative when it comes to utilizing Doraemon's gadgets (in a single episode, he found a way to use a gadget called 'the broadcasting mirror' profitably, for advertising, even when Doraemon himself couldn't think of any use for it).In the initial background where Doraemon did not interfere, Nobita marries Jaiko (Gian's sister, although he enjoys Shizuka), never discovers a good job, starts his own business, and eventually goes bankrupt. Doraemon succeeds on his mission to avoid each one of these from happening, as seen in several episodes in which they travel to the future. Nobita eventually marries Shizuka and becomes an official in the Ministry of Environment.
