He has often risked his life to help save others or even whole civilizations in full-length experiences. Though he's shown to be academically poor, the real reason for it is his laziness principally, and he has also guaranteed good grades in multiple episodes, proving his credentials. Nobita can be very serious and accountable at times. Nobita is weak for the most part things but has some strengths. For example, Nobita has excellent marksmanship which rivals (or even surpasses) Dora a child. He is able to weave excellent string statistics also, is a great archer, and a fairly good comic book critic, due to the huge amount of energy he spends on reading them. He is also very creative as it pertains to utilizing Doraemon's gizmos (in a single episode, he found a way to profitably use a gizmo called 'the broadcasting mirror', for advertising, even when Doraemon himself couldn't think of any use for this).In the initial background where Doraemon did not interfere, Nobita marries Jaiko (Gian's sister, although he loves Shizuka), never detects a good job, begins his own business, and eventually goes bankrupt. Doraemon succeeds on his mission to avoid each one of these from happening, as observed in several episodes where they happen to be the near future. Nobita eventually marries Shizuka and becomes an official in the Ministry of Environment.
