Nobita's typical day consists of arriving past due to school, falling during class asleep, rating zero (0%) (F's in the English dub) on his testing, getting scolded by his educator, being teased by his classmates Suneo and Gian, dropping in the curbside rainfall gutters, getting chased by canines after mistakenly stepping on their tails, getting grounded by his mom for not concluding his home work, and being bullied by all his friends except Shizuka, who remembers Nobita's kind heart and soul and cares for him. He is a coward who's frightened by almost everything also, ghosts particularly, and a cry-baby (a running gag in the show has Nobita crying and asking for Doraemon to bring out his gadgets, mainly at the beginning of the episode). He dislikes going on outdoor activities along with his interest being taking an afternoon nap or reading comics, right after school usually. In fact, sleeping and comic reserve reading are his only true interests probably; one story features Nobita drifting off to sleep in three seconds just by closing his eyes, while in others he chooses sleep over important events, such as watching the first sunrise on New Year's Day. The only thing stopping him from residing at home on a regular basis, other than experimenting with Doraemon's gizmos, is Gian and Suneo bullying him to take part in baseball game titles or criticisms from his parents and Doraemon to go out and play.Regardless of the above flaws, Nobita is usually portrayed as being kind-hearted, emotional, honest, once in a while hard-working (like when he gets into a wager with his friends) and sometimes courageous. He has often risked his life to help save others or even complete civilizations in full-length reviews. Though he's shown to be academically poor, the real reason for it is his laziness principally, and he has anchored good markings in multiple episodes also, proving his qualifications. Nobita can be quite serious and responsible at times. Nobita is weak at most things but has some strengths. For example, Nobita has excellent marksmanship which rivals (or even surpasses) Dora a child. He is able to also weave excellent string statistics, is a great archer, and a good comic book critic quite, owing to the large amount of the time he spends on reading them. He is also very creative as it pertains to utilizing Doraemon's gadgets (in a single episode, he found a way to profitably use a tool called 'the broadcasting mirror', for advertising, even when Doraemon himself couldn't think of any use for it).In the initial background where Doraemon didn't interfere, Nobita marries Jaiko (Gian's sister, although he enjoys Shizuka), never locates a good job, starts his own business, and eventually goes bankrupt. Doraemon succeeds on his mission to prevent all these from happening, as observed in several episodes in which they travel to the future. Nobita eventually marries Shizuka and becomes an official in the Ministry of Environment.
