Doraemon: Nobita39;s Great Battle of the Mermaid King 2010 • movies
Nobita's typical day consists of arriving overdue to school, falling asleep during class, rating zero (0%) (F's in the English dub) on his assessments, getting scolded by his teacher, being teased by his classmates Gian and Suneo, falling in the curbside rainwater gutters, getting chased by pups after mistakenly moving on their tails, getting grounded by his mom for not completing his homework, and being bullied by all his friends except Shizuka, who remembers Nobita's kind heart and cares for him. He is also a coward who's worried by almost anything, ghosts particularly, and a cry-baby (a jogging gag in the show has Nobita crying and requesting Doraemon to bring out his gadgets, generally at the beginning of the episode). He dislikes happening outdoor activities along with his interest being taking a day reading or nap comics, usually right after school. In fact, sleeping and comic publication reading are his only true hobbies probably; one story features Nobita falling in three seconds just by closing his eyes asleep, while in others he chooses sleep over important events, such as watching the first sunrise on New Year's Day. The only thing halting him from staying at home all the time, other than experimenting with Doraemon's gizmos, is Gian and Suneo bullying him to participate in baseball games or criticisms from his parents and Doraemon to venture out and play.Regardless of the above flaws, Nobita is portrayed as being kind-hearted usually, emotional, honest, occasionally hard-working (like when he gets into a wager with his friends) and sometimes courageous. He has often risked his life to assist in saving others or even complete civilizations in full-length reports. Though he's shown to be poor academically, the reason behind it is his laziness principally, and he has anchored good grades in multiple episodes also, proving his credentials. Nobita can be quite accountable and serious sometimes. Nobita is weak for the most part things but has some strengths. For example, Nobita has excellent marksmanship which rivals (or even surpasses) Dora a child. He is able to also weave excellent string numbers, is a great archer, and a good comic reserve critic reasonably, due to the large amount of their time he spends on reading them. He is also very creative when it comes to utilizing Doraemon's gadgets (in one episode, he found a way to profitably use a gadget called 'the broadcasting mirror', for advertising, even though Doraemon himself couldn't think of any use for it).In the initial history where Doraemon did not interfere, Nobita marries Jaiko (Gian's sister, although he enjoys Shizuka), never finds a good job, starts his own business, and goes bankrupt eventually. Doraemon succeeds on his mission to avoid all these from happening, as seen in several episodes in which they travel to the future. Nobita eventually marries Shizuka and becomes an official in the Ministry of Environment.
